Juniata Terrace Borough Tax Collector

Our Tax Collector Susie Tyson, has mailed all taxes for Spring Real Estate Taxes, School Taxes and both Per Capita tax bills, as well as reminders.

Tax bills may be sent/delivered to the following locations:

Mailed to Susie Tyson, Tax Colllector, 21 Hudson Ave, Lewistown, PA 17044

• Taken to 80 Hudson Ave – Community Building on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month March to December between the hours of 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM (**If paying cash you MUST HAVE EXACT CHANGE**).

• Mrs. Tyson will not be in on the evening of 6/24/26 Due to vacation

• .Please do not place any tax bills in the Borough office’s mailbox, or attempt to pay your taxes to the Borough Manager as she can not accept them. All taxes bills must be paid to the tax collector directly.

• If you are choosing to pay the Fall School taxes using the 3 part payment plan, all payments must be recieved by the date on your coupons. The tax collector can not accept late payments per the school district. Failure to met the deadline will result in payment needing to be made it full.

*Please note if you would like a receipt to include self-addressed, stamped envelope for receipt.

IMPORTANT TAX INFORMATION:  Any 2025 taxes not paid or prior years (Spring Real Estate and Spring Per Capita, as well as Fall Real Estate and Fall Per Capita)
by these dates will be considered delinquent and will be turned over to the Court House. If you are unsure if you have paid taxes for this year please stop in and speak to Mrs. Tyson. Checks and Cash must be made out for the exact amount due that is shown on your slip. Prior years taxes cannot be paid to the tax collector, you must contact either Mifflin County Court House for Property, or Keystone Collections for Per Capita.

Please remember it is anyone over the age of 18’s responsibility to report to the court house anytime you move to ensure your per capita is being sent from the correct municipality. IF YOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED TAXES FOR SPRING, FALL, OR BOTH, PLEASE CONTACT SUSIE IMMEDIATLEY. The $10 per capita tax you pay twice a year, becomes very expense and may result in Keystone Collection doing a wage attachment. Unpaid real estate taxes will have additional fees added at the court house as of the 1^st
of the year. The borough office or any borough elected official cannot answer tax questions. All questions must go through the Tax Collector.  Taxes can be dropped at 21 Hudson Ave, if you would like a receipt, please be sure to include a self-addressed envelope with a stamp.

If you receive a tax (per capita or real estate) that does not belong to you or any member of your house hold please return to the tax collector so changes can be made and she can notify the individual who should have rightfully received it.
